International Workshops are now available

Hope everyone had a great break during New Year & celebrating Australia Day in style. Where is Handi? I am currently teaching in Bangkok and having lots of fun at Sweet Obsession. Feeling really blessed to be the 1st overseas teacher @ Sweet Obsession, classes are running well, students are wayyy to good. I am really happy with the their results and I will post Bangkok photos when I come back to show you their great works.

10.11.12 Wedding Cake

Grande wedding cake? Yes...bring it on... !!
I was super excited to create wedding cake with a big bang factor for Ronald and Rica. For the young couple, I created 7 tiers wedding cake with base concepts of Cinderella style, fairy tale with elegance. Colour wise I decided to stick with monochromatic - white base with pearl-ish finish to deliver elegance with a bit of sparks. The cake had different heights, with floral ball on the top, a little embossing and piping works. I absolutely love the simplicity & monotonous color of this wedding cake. Grande, clean design and elegant. Hurray to less is more .. have a great night everyone.

PS. Ronald and Rica's wedding date was uniquely sequential ~ 10.11.12 ~

Twins Picnic in the park Birthday Cake

The Twins 1st birthday party with picnic in the park theme. Initially we had a bit of dilemma deciding on their hair style LOL, at the end we picked the bob style with bow tie. We also made several toys for them, bunny rabbit, rattles, mobile phone (Gen Y kiddies cant live without it), milk bottle, fishie, etc. How nice... having picnic under the tree with your fave toys !! Happy Birthday to Sophie and Holly.

Window Display 10/11/12

Okay I was a little naughty, my window display was a little neglected for a few weeks as I had a hectic month ~ teaching, cake project, cake order, travelling.Time to give it a little TLC, bit of cleaning, dusting, and update.

Sorry about the quality of the photos, I took the photos at night when I was working in the studio to finish up several cakes. Here you go, our recent window display, enjoy!!
