Handi's Cakes in Penang

Greetings from Penang (Malaysia),

I am currently having so much fun in Malaysia doing my very 1st international debut. I hope everyone enjoyed the class as much as I do. Thank you for attending my class yesterday and big thanks to Sugar for having me. Thanks the aircon as well for making me survive the humidity lol.

Handi's Cakes @ Crave Sydney International Food Festival

This year I am participating in CRAVE Sydney Food Festival, I will be  doing hands on cake decorating class in my studio. Students will learn the basics of decorating round and square mini cakes, applying ganache, fondant layering, and decorating (roses, leaves and bow tie).

When: 17 October 2011

Time: AM class (10am - 1pm) or PM class (2-5pm)

Strike!!!

 

This very cool cake is for a little boy whom I've made cakes for before. Felix is having a ten pin bowling theme birthday party at the bowling alley and this cake was made especially for it.

Felix is actually a regular customer of mine (at the age of 6! how cool is he?) I made Felix's 2nd and 3rd birthday cakes. Check them out!:

2 Tiers Double Barrel Cake

I would like to share my recent Intermediate class - 2 Tiers Double Barrel Cake with large feature flower.
We created these beautiful cakes in 2 days and I am proud to announce that my students have graduated with flying colors.

My 2 days class will guide you to cover your cake without cracking, setting up double barrel cake, brush embroidery, lace piping, metallic finish and making large feature flower.
